We are currently looking to recruit a Trainer to support the Tungsten West team at Hemerdon Mine. The role will be reporting into the Health & Safety Manager. As the trainer you will be responsible for ensuring all site personnel can perform their roles safely and effectively adhering to industry standards and comply to the Tungsten West Management Systems and company standards.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
Designing & delivery of quality training courses & assessments.
Develop detailed lesson plans to support training courses.
Applying industry skills and knowledge to enhance learning activities and source learning support materials.
Facilitating learners’ progression through training plans and support learners as required.
Assessing of training assessments in a timely manner with constructive feedback where applicable.
Participate in moderation/validation sessions as required and facilitate continuous improvement.
Maintaining training material & records accurately
Supporting all departments with training as required
Skills & Experience
Must have an Training or Assessment Qualification.
Previous Training and Assessment experience.
Evidence of professional development.
Flexible teaching and learning style/strategies to serve the needs of the learners.
Good computer skills and adaptability to new technologies.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong organisational, verbal, written, communication and time management skills.
Strong organisational ability with a high attention to detail.
Exceptional time management with the ability to work autonomously.
Problem solving and analytical.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience with heavy mobile equipment including Excavators, Crusher & Screening, Wheel Loaders, Dozers, Graders and Dump Trucks.
Conducting training and assessment on heavy mobile plant.
Mining or Quarrying Experience.
Accredited trainer / instructors certificate with IOSH, NPORS, CPCS or MPQC
