Join the Tungsten West Limited (TWL) team working on the mine re-start. Be an integral part of the team throughout the feasibility study, project re-build, commissioning/ramp-up and into production.
Key in this role is the requirement to:

Work in an organised and structured manner so as to meet deadlines and avoid mistakes
Liaise with the broader TWL team and other relevant departments as required
Assist the Tungsten West team with other relevant work as required
More specifically the role will involve:
Reporting to the Head of Finance
Self-starter; Work in isolation and in collaboration with others
Starting at 2 days (or 4 half days) per week, poss. to increase
Production of Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports
Cashflow forecasts & Reconciliations
Take ownership of management accounts
Liaise with Accountants for VAT, HMRC & other reporting
Liaise with Commercial Team to manage cash flow
Liaise with Company Secretary to manage legal & fiduciary responsibilities
Understand the end-to-end processes for Finance, P2P and O2C
Develop financial controls, work with admin/procurement team to assist with reporting & controls for procurement
Maintain Chart of Accounts, Org Model (Departments & Cost centre hierarchy)
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Liaise with the Tungsten West team and other relevant departments as required
Assist the Tungsten West team with other relevant work as required
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following areas:
ACCA/CIMA/ACA or AAT part- or qualified
Experience in an SME environment
Professional & articulate manner
Proficient on Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Cloud accounting packages: Sage, Xero, etc
Desirable additional experience:
Mining or Quarry experience
Reporting tools (Power BI or similar)
We are seeking candidates eligible to work in the UK, with a relevant degree or qualifications and a UK (or equivalent) car driving licence. The successful candidate will be happy working in a dynamic, hardworking environment and integrating with and assisting the broader project team. Candidates should be computer literate, physically fit and happy to work outdoors in all weather. Previous experience working in the mining industry is highly desirable.
